The Football Competitions Project is an exciting youth-focused initiative of the Gammangwato Development Committees, proudly coordinated by the Youth and Sports Committee. The project serves as a platform to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and healthy competition among young people and the wider community.
Through these competitions, local football teams come together to showcase their skill and passion for the game, while community members gather to celebrate unity and youth development through sport. The initiative not only identifies and nurtures emerging football talent but also strengthens community bonds across villages and wards.
Prizes are awarded as follows:
1st Prize: P30,000
2nd Prize: P20,000
3rd Prize: P10,000
Beyond competition, the Football Project encourages active lifestyles, mentorship, and leadership among young players.
